Unfortunately, #53, I believe they already know who you are, no? And while you are good with a disguise, it is too risky to send you directly into their clutches. While they have the demeanor of neophytes, there is likely more beneath their surface. Yes, new players come into the coffee trade all the time. But how many name themselves directly after another, eh? It is a brash and antagonistic move, one which is likely to lead us straight into a trap. Something that has yet to sit right with me is their familiarity with Padre’s daughter, Abigail, or as they call her, “Abby.”

Not to mention, one of their first known activities involved infiltrating an Astorian operation in an attempt to steal a new stable portal in Long Beach. Novices do not pull such stunts. We wouldn’t even be so foolish to try something like that, yes? And while we have been able to pass off their strange behavior and activities as the mistakes and bravado of newcomers, we can’t take that chance anymore. Especially when Mrs. Aka could be controlling any number of them if not all of them already. If he is keen to go after #35’s parents, he certainly has to have considered the Cafe No Diner as well.

Sahir’s connections have gotten us nowhere with them. They have done an excellent job, remaining obscured, remaining a secret. Perhaps that is exactly what we need now—secrets. I know just the man to help in such a circumstance. Of course, he wants me dead, but many do. And what is a little betrayal between old friends, old brothers, and kin by thread? I can’t run from him forever, though it’s hardly running when he knows where I am at all times, eh? If he truly wanted me dead, he would’ve done it by now.
