Much appreciation to #1313 and #53 for their help in getting Mr. Trigano’s medicine. He’s feeling a lot better now, and I think he’s finally ready to fly home… however, he’s still got some business for us to take care of here in the States. Or, at least, some business for me to take care of. I’d love any help the Cafe wants to send, but I can probably handle this one on my own. See, we’ve got another fearsome customer along the same lines as Mr. Cox—Mrs. Tyron. Mr. Trigano is fairly certain that Mrs. Tyron will be Mrs. Middletown’s next target.
Of course, Mrs. Tyron is an especially difficult customer to pin down by her very nature. However, Mr. Trigano believes she has been hanging around Gifford. As we’re roughly a month out from when Mr. Trigano was injured, we’re pretty sure Mrs. Middletown must have figured out where she is, too. While it’s a good idea to stop Mrs. Middletown from “gastering” any more customers, Mrs. Tyron would give her a major boost to her business, one we likely couldn’t out-compete.
I realize that this Middletown business is something of a distraction from the Church, but at the same time, it’s distracting us; it has to be distracting them. According to Mr. Trigano, Mrs. Middletown is going through all this trouble to come to blows with Mrs. Pleasant—and ultimately Padre Santos himself. Mrs. Middletown is planning a coup of sorts to dethrone Padre to place her father in control of his assets. It places us in a sort of weird in-between, though… we could let Mrs. Middletown go about her business and hope she manages to usurp Padre for us. But then we’d have to deal with Mrs. Middletown—who would be divorced and Miss. by then—at least Padre tries to play by the rules.
