Summary of Receipt

The CaD fail to get the Staff. Also: The Staff is able to rewrite reality, but it’s only limited to the Flipside and the Otherside - both the Topside and the Black Tide should be safe, so things could have been much worse. Still, if the Enochian Bible is in the cycle (the two Sides) then they’re gonna die. Or maybe someone other than the Dark Triad got the Staff, which might cause a rift within the Dark. Also, the Staff also apparently draws its power from the Ouroboros, and can’t collect the ‘Keys of Hell’.

Right, well, can’t say we didn’t give it our best, can we? So The Dark now has Solomon’s Scepter, choice? The good news is the thing doesn’t stick to one owner for too long. The bad news is the Scepter can rewrite reality’s code to the wielder’s whims. Good news again, though, it can only really affect the Flipside and Otherside. The Topside should be safe, and places outside the cycle like the Black Tide should be fine, too, so we shouldn’t worry about a bunch of angry geezers. Bad News? Suppose the Enchocian Bible DOES exist, and it is hidden somewhere in the cycle. In that case, nothing is stopping the Dark from just willing it into their possession. Good News? I don’t know if Gameshow is just handing it over to Umbra or whoever managed to buzz in first. Not to mention, there’s a bloody good chance it’s not Flip or Otherside if it is a real thing.

I guess we’ll find out soon in the buff. Like I said, there is a chance that if some other heap of coke from the Dark besides Umbra gets the Scepter, they might do a bit of the ‘ol betrayal on him. I don’t particularly think they are the closest hoppin’ pot of friends, are they? As long as none of the Triad gets it, we might still have a chance to make it out of this mess jacks and aces. Then again, I don’t really want to see what Gemini might do with that bit of kit, yeah? I’m still tryin’ to catch up on that whole mess, but from what I understand, Gemini is a bit of a... well, a not-to-friendly type. Apocalyptic, even. Given the chance. Though, the Scepter can’t grab the Keys of Hell either, so that’s a bubbly little bonus padding.

The Scepter sticks around for a bubble ‘n squeak tops before it disappears based on historical records. Has to do with its power source bein’ the Ouro. We should be back in the clear by Halloween. Or stale bread by Halloween. Or worse. There’s always the chance for worse.

Also, what a stupid bloody puzzle! Are you jokin’ me? Havin’ a laugh Complexico? “Nlxs?” Bloody stupid! Also Oynx? OYNX? THAT’S NOT A CHUFFIN’ WORD, YOU MADMAN.
