Summary of Receipt

So 'Mrs. Mizuki' was really just a group of Tanukis pretending to be one to try and scare off humans. Interestingly enough, the 'mythology' of the Otherworld seems to just be a rip-off of both old and new myths. In any case, now the four rulers of the Otherworld are finally known: Miss. Satsuki, Princess Takiyasha, rules the Nightmarch; Miss. Bad, Badb, rules Avalon; Miss. Nocturnal, Nyx, rules Olympus; and Miss. Wednesday, Odin, rules Alfheim (and the other Nine Realms). Though it is kind of strange that only Odin's the 'proper' ruler.

Well, there you have it really. That was no Mrs. Mizuki, just like I said. It was, however, a wholllle mess of Tanukis pretending to be one to scare off human development… though I think they might have been a few years too late. Which, yeah, also seems to be a rip off of Pom Poko, but the whole Otherworld seems to be a rip off of one thing or another. Which does bring up an interesting point… it seems the “mythology” these Myths pull from is a very, very, VERY, wide net. It’s an amalgamation of old and new. Which I kind of figured was the case having spoken to Mr. Smith and the like. Which does provide me with a rather unique advantage: thinking outside the box.

Though, Miss. Satsuki did eventually turn back up with the correct seal to send them back to the parade in Nightmarch. I was able to get a good look at it, and while it doesn’t look like anything we’ve ever used before I’m sure one of the magic-y guys could reconstruct it into a more standardized sigil or something. Though it seems like the Otherworld does sort of work like the Otherside at least as Miss. Satsuki ended up dragging the little shapeshifted back through the Inunaki Tunnel which acts like a stable portal to Nightmarch.

Also, I’m pretty sure Miss. Satsuki runs Nightmarch. And Miss. Bad is running Avalon. And from the sound of it, Miss. Nocturnal is ruling Olympus. And… oddly enough I think Miss. Wednesday is still in charge of Alfheim and the Nine Realms. I say, “oddly” because it sure feels like the typical rulers of these stories have been disposed of. I guess Miss. Wednesday is just too hard to take out. But then you’d think Miss. Jupiter would’ve put up a fight too. I don’t know. Much to ponder as always, but at least the giant “skeleton” is back home.
