Summary of Receipt

26 and 116 have been warping around the world trying to find Vizago's face, aided by a magical compass locator given to them by 17. Nothing in the Flipside, Morningstar, Esterskald or Mayda, apparently. As a side note, it seems the Necropolis - currently embroiled in the Shadow War - is not faring as well as Asmodeus expected, and the general of the Morbid King (who's attacking the Necropolis) seems to be Miss. Umbra. So that's not too good.

Now I was kiddin’ when I said we’d give Vizago No.5’s face. Mostly. But I can’t be the only one who finds him insufferable most of the time. I reckon No. 26 is at least in the same boat as me. Our primary goal would be to actually find Vizago’s missin’ face first to save No. 5’s. So me an’ 26 have been warpin’ round the world and then some seeing if we can’t find it. No. 17 gave us a lil’ locator spell whatchamacallit. It’s a compass, more or less. Spins round and round until it’s in the same general area as the face. Though I reckon it must be broken, or we must be mighty unlucky as we’ve been to every continent and just near every plane with no luck.

To be fair, we only popped our heads into the Morningstar, Esterskald, and Mayda. The face could’ve ended up in Mammon’s collection in Infernus, in some seedy shop in the Vile City out in Hauntaurskald, or, worst case, as some sort of Shadow Trophy in the Necropolis. While we didn’t stick around the Otherside for long, we definitely got the impression from the locals of Aurora, the Hollow, and the Creaking that things are not goin’ well down in the Necropolis. This whole “Shadow War” is going a lot darker than Asmodeus probably expected.

From the general whispers and whatnots, it sounds like the head of that there Morbid King’s army is none other than Miss. Umbra. And you can be assured that Miss. Umbra is still mighty displeased with the TriCaD, especially No. 5. I am a bit worried that if Miss. Umbra and the Morbid King are able to get control of the Necropolis, the Cafe and Diner would be screwed two ways to Sunday. So… I think it’s best we mind our business as it pertains to the Shadows and the lustin’ dead. That is a tree we don’t need to be barkin’ up, I tell you what.
