Summary of Receipt
44B deduces that Mr. Cowon's true identity is a Cwn Annwn. He suspects that the Otherworld's four Planes are either Celtic, Welsh, Scottish and Saxon mythology; or alternatively that the whole myths of the British Isles are simply one Plane. He observes that Cowon is growing more corporeal, theorising that it's linked to the upcoming Snow Moon due to the nature of the Great Hunt (alternatively the Wild Hunt) that he is associated with, as it is linked to autumn and winter.

I am almost certain that the creature No. 7 has led us to is the Cwn Annwn, also known as the Hound of Annwn. Annwn… the “Otherworld” in Welsh Mythology. So, it would seem that this Otherworld is indeed some sort of plane of Welsh and Celtic mythology. However, I believe that the Otherworld might be more than just that. I mean, from our various Augurs, we’ve heard a common theme… “four.” I believe the Otherworld must be comprised of four separate planes. Perhaps Celtic, Welsh, Scottish, and Saxon? Or perhaps all of these creatures from mythologies tied to the British Isles are from only one of the four planes? It’ll probably be hard to say for sure until we see more customers from the Otherworld.
As for our affable Hound of Annwn, he is a very good boy. He’s well-behaved, playful, and, as one would expect, enjoys a good hunt. However, as No. 3 already alluded to, he does have a very dangerous super-sonic howl that can kill you if you hear it. However, from seeing him use this howl for hunting prey, it seems rather directional and contained. I’m sure he could send it out indiscriminately over a wide area if he was pressured enough, but so long as you don’t pose a threat, I doubt he’d use it on you. Another interesting observation I’ve made over the past two days is that he seems to be getting… stronger? Or more… corporeal. Yesterday he was more ethereal than he is today, and according to No. 3 and 7, when they arrived on Saturday, he was much more ghost-like.
I have a few theories on what might be causing this, but I can’t help but be drawn to the upcoming Snow Moon. We already know that the moon and its phases are heavily tied to the boundary lines and the position of the Otherside relative to the Flipside, but perhaps this extends to the Otherworld as well? Or… perhaps thinking a bit more simplistically, the Hounds of Annwn are associated with a “Great Hunt,” which is tied to many dates and holidays throughout autumn and winter, but it might also just be a full moon thing. Nocturnal hunts are usually conducted under a full moon for visibility, and the Snow Moon, in particular, has some associations with hunts, especially difficult winter hunts.
