Explanation: This is Mrs. Pleasant’s remark when asked about the blood moon.
Summary of Receipt
11411 tries to understand what Pleasant was saying about the Otherside and Flipside's time-connection. It seems the Otherside is - at any point in (Flipside) time - at the 'opposite point in time', and in fact time in the Otherside would therefore flow backwards (in relation to the Flipside). Apparently. In any case, 11411 suspects that it's possible this Blood Moon may be special because those in the Otherside - who would have been seeing the Flipside's future, in their past - somehow knew it was special, and used the Blood Moon to resurrect the dead Esterskaldian Cryptids and 'fill them' with the flies.

Well… that wasn’t as helpful as I would have liked. Though, I suppose it’s still interesting. The part about how the Otherside is just a future reflection of the Flipside. I’m not sure I totally… understand… what the Mothman meant by that. I guess I think he meant that this moment right now is the exact opposite moment of time in the Otherside. Which means that based on how time would move… the future in the Otherside is actually the Flipsides past and vice versa. Meaning those in the Otherside could have some degree of knowledge for where things should be in the future of the Flipside?
Agh… it all makes my brain hurt. And moreover, I don’t see how it’d be helpful to know when an eclipse or blood moon is coming. It’s not like we can’t already predict that now in the Flipside, so what advantage would there be knowing when it would happen in advance have? Unless there is more to the blood moon and eclipse than the Mothman was letting on. We know that the Flipside and Otherside are linked—two sides of the same coin. But… what if we’re not seeing the same thing they are?
To us, it was just a blood moon and eclipse, common celestial phenomena that can be tracked, charted, and predicted with relative ease in the Flipside. But what if there was… I don’t know… “more” to it? What if this past blood moon and eclipse were special in some way to those in the Otherside, and they could only know and observe that they were special because, for them, they were looking at events that had already happened in their past, but our future? And what if these celestial phenomena are being used to raise Cryptids from the dead and fill them with soul-eating flies…?
