The Manager/Manager No. 5

Aw, poor No. 5. I know his moniker is the “washed up warlock,” and all, but he really never could catch a break could he? His playlist is mostly a mesh of pov:indie, modern rock, and some chill hip hop vibes. His songs deal heavily with both his substance abuse issues and his “dating Nikki Langley” issues, slowly leading into the unimaginable weight he must’ve felt when he was holding all eight pieces of the Mantle.

Playlist

1. Everything is burning and I love it
Sit and watch the world until it's nothing
Scared of going out into the public
Yeah, we the kings now
2. I hear voices
I see visions
These spirits
Are your prison
3. I've been sleeping in a cardboard box
Spending every dollar at the liquor shop
And even though I know I haven't got a lot
I'll try to give you love until the day you drop
I've been training like a Pavlov dog
Let my independence out to take a hike
All you got to do is activate my bell
And I'll fetch you anything you like
4. So many ways that I could say it
So why can't I even think of one?
Just say something and break the silence
It's not a love song but you're alright
5. You say it's your thing to be honest
Like it's kinda this token of pride
Well to be honest, you are kind of a goddess
But being with you kinda kills me inside
You want me to explain it, well
It's sort of this look in your eye
6. And I can't see you here, wonder where I might
It sort of feels like I'm runnin' out of time
I haven't found all I was hopin' to find
You said you got to be up in the mornin'
Gonna have an early night
And you're startin' to bore me, baby
"Why'd you only call me when you're high?"
7. I talk to myself, self
I think I need help, help
So what if I'm na-na-na not okay?
I'm na-na-na not okay
I'm bad for my health, health
My head's on a shelf, shelf
So what if I'm na-na-na not okay?
8. For love, we ain't got the time
I tell you baby, I don't think we're doing fine
We just haven't got a clue
I keep my love, I want my blood inside of you
9. And now we're in the middle of the rage and glory!
Asking where the hell it all went wrong, yeah
"I love you"'s quickly turning into "I'm so sorry!"
We're stuck inside the chorus of a song, yeah
So it better be good, it better be good, it better be good!
10. I got boulders on my shoulders
Collar bones begin to crack
There is very little left of me and it's never coming back
There are certain things you ask of me
And there are certain things I'll lack
The beginning, we were winning
But now I'm just making up facts
