Wow, I wasn’t expecting Mr. Three himself to slither into our little mom-and-pop shop. Then again, I guess he’s become quite familiar with our new #35. Augur-business, I presume to assume. For those unaware (mainly looking at the new guys), Mr. Three, better known as Hermes Trismegistus, is an Ouroborian Demon who has a, shall we say, “penchant” for meddling in human affairs.

The majority of Ouroborians tend to take after their mother, Belphegor, the Demon Prince of Sloth, in that they spend their quasi-immortal lives doing about jack all. I believe back in the day (way, way, way, WAY back) Ouroborians used to be a bit more involved in demon and human affairs. Though after a few eons, I guess they got bored with it and have largely kept to themselves in the Ouroboros. However, Hermes consistently picks Augurs to share secrets with. I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason to who he picks or why but if there’s an Augur who has suddenly bloomed in power 9 out of 10 times, you can bet it’s Hermes who was behind it.

I would just ask the snake what’s up, but he’s keeping his lips real tight. I personally find it rude to come into a place of business, refuse to speak for… oh, 39 hours or so, and just sit there. Menacingly. I imagine he’s either waiting for the Owner to pop out of his cave, OR he’s dead. Ouroborians aren’t actually immortal, after all. What if he just came in here to die? Wait, nope, I just saw him blink. So… yeah…

I guess he’s just going to sit here. Maybe forever? Well, he could be a cool Cafe mascot? Or he could be the new Cafe pet now that Francois is gone. Just spitballing.
