Ciel just stopped by. He wanted to warn me about Jenni, our new #35. For now, I'm just sending this report out to the original employees. Nothing against the new kids, but I don't want to freak them out or anything, you know? And I'm not planning on CC'ing J. He'll find it eventually, but I just want to speak to you guys for right now. Anyway, dudes, let's get into it, yeah?
So we all know what happened with the whole, you know, last year. No need to pick at those scabs right now. But something stranger has been happening in the Otherside. And I don't mean the whole Padre in Long Beach thing; it seems Sara is hanging around in Morningstar. Or, uh, well her kids are at least. There's been an amphiptere slithering around. I think his name is Hermes or something along those lines. I know for sure he's one of Sara's favorite serpents. When Jenni burnt herself out the other day, she thought Hermes looked at her, but he was looking at Ciel.
That isn't to say Hermes wasn't trying to look for Jenni, though. It seems that the serpents have taken a particular interest in her, and I can only assume it's due to her natural second sight powers. From what I know and what Ciel has told me, second sight, in general, is power under the domain of Sara. Due to the nature of space-time, it's basically the power to see very far into the future. Now I'm no dummy, and I doubt the rest of you are either. Our boss has some weird connection to Sara. In fairness, it wouldn't be the only Prince of Hell he has a weird connection to, yeah? But during the whole... ah, the thing we aren't really supposed to talk about too much, the you know, Indigo Operations, he seemed to know more about Sara than he did about Lucy. You don't think that's why they broke up, do you? You know? Lucy finds out he was dating her sister? Can you imagine?
Ah, no point in speculating on J's love affairs. At least not in a place he might see it. What I do find interesting and maybe concerning is how our Sara seems to be slithering about and trying to get her tail around 35. I don't know if we can really do much to protect her, but I don't want her to, you know, like the last one. Ciel would take it up with Lucy, but she's not really taking requests at the moment. We just need to keep an eye out for snakes around the Cafe, especially amphipteres, although I assume Hermes would hide his wings if he came Flipside.
