17’s been too busy to look at the painting in the House on Dracula Drive, so 323’s just waiting and monitoring the House. He’s noticed that minor things have changed, like the colour of the drapes, whether doors are closed or not, and so on. Unfortunately, due to the House’s weird nature, it could really be anyone - Lucia, Phantom, the other residents of the House, or anything else. Also, he describes the two people in the portrait.

No. 17's been too tied up to see the strange new portrait in the House. Hopefully, next week, the stars will align, and he'll be able to swing by and take a look at it. It's been three weeks since the Dark Watchers were here, and the portrait was added to House. Thankfully(?) it hasn't changed since it showed up. Still just a man and woman with somewhat vague features. Something strange I've noticed is that while it seems soft and almost dreamlike from afar, the details almost seem to sharpen into hyperrealism as you get closer to the portrait. Of course, that makes deciphering it more challenging as I can only really ever see a tiny piece clearly.
These are some of the details I have picked out: The woman has blonde hair, hazel eyes, and is wearing a yellow dress. She is looking down at the bottom left of the painting and is leaning slightly away from the man. The man has black hair, brown eyes, and is wearing a red suit with a rose boutonniere. He has a cane in his left hand and has his right arm around the woman. He is looking towards the horizon, I suppose. While the woman has a slightly closed smile, the man's smile is wide, and he bares his teeth. His canines are especially pronounced. The backdrop seems to be a pale green room with some yellow spots, and I think I see a crib in the background. Hopefully, it'll spark something in No. 17's mind when he sees it in person.
Also, the portraits are not the only change I've noticed in the House since the Watchers were here. It's all been subtle changes, but I've noticed doors left ajar, drapes changing colors, and I think the floorboards switched orientations. I guess it's not necessarily any cause for immediate concern or anything. The House does change its appearance on its own, though it hasn't really changed much since I took control of it a few years ago. There must be some external presence exerting control on the House. Could be the Watchers. Could be Phantom. Could be any of the other residents of the House, as I know I'm not the only one who uses it. I mean, the House is, by its very nature, a strange place. I'm not too worried about the small things, but this portrait seems important to the whole Miss. Augustine problem. Plus, it's kinda freaky, and I'd want to get it looked at anyway.
