HORRORS CASE NO. 1
That was undoubtedly frightening. Though maybe not as frightening as what happened next. As far as C.C. goes, she was asleep basically all day yesterday. I think her body is finally catching up now that she seems to be nightmare-free. It seems like we've got our first big and bitter cup of coffee to brew. I was hoping we'd have a few more softball customers first, but it seems like we're headed into the deep end—literally. Though, O.L. says we should approach this situation with some caution, and I'm sure A.I. would agree. We don't need to be dealing with big, bad customers until we actually get our feet wet.
Right, also, the other frightening thing that happened next. So, while C.C. was recovering, I got a Facebook message from… my ex. Rachel. You all remember Rachel, I assume. I assumed she would never talk to me again if our breakup was anything to go by. And before anyone complains about me dumping my messy relationship drama into receipts… First off, it's my Cafe. I can do whatever I want. Second, and probably more importantly, she… said many of the same things C.C. said while asleep. That freaked me out.
Apparently, since we broke up, she's been dabbling into coffee herself. Well, I mean, she was always sort of into the stuff, but I guess in the four years we haven't been talking, it's become a bigger part of her life. Anyway… to my surprise, she actually asked if she could join our Cafe. I… really wasn't expecting that, but I said yes. Sort of like C.C., she's been having coffee-stained dreams. I guess for Rachel, however, she intentionally spikes her dreams with a touch of caffeine. At this rate, our Cafe is going to turn into a defacto high school reunion, huh?
