Summary of Receipt

Manager 5 receives a letter from ‘Seth Warren’ to pass to 71 (the new one) which could allegedly ‘turn the tides’. It was just a vague letter asking to team up, except that it was signed by Satan. 71 decides to get the letter scanned to see if it’s actually from him, because that’s incredibly suspicious.

If you hadn’t already heard, Manager No. 5 was given a strange letter by ex-Cafe and Diner employee Seth Warren addressed to me. Allegedly it could potentially “turn the tides” or something. Though, having read it, I am left extraordinarily confused. The letter didn’t say much. Nothing worth putting into a receipt anyway. Just standard vague, fluffy nonsense along the lines of “I want to help. You don’t know me, but I know you. Let’s align our goals” blah, blah, blah. The only thing that could’ve made it more cliché would’ve been a string of binary at the bottom. However, it’s the signature that caught my eye. “Sincerely, Satan.”

Satan. Prince of Wrath, who was recently freed and currently running his little church façade in Long Beach. At least, that is what the letter would lead one to believe. I find it a rather hard pill to swallow that Satan himself would write me a letter. It’s not his style, is it? And to say that I don’t know him, well, I suppose it’s true we have hardly ever met outright, but surely, he knows I worked for the first Cafe, right? Something doesn’t add up here, and I don’t know Seth to be a practical joker either.

I think the wisest decision would be to have the letter analyzed. If this was truly penned by Satan himself, well, surely his blood signature would still be present. It’s a hard signature to mask. To that end, I’m taking the letter to the Long Island location to see if No. 62 can work his magic on it and tell me who or what wrote it. There is, of course, the possibility that Satan is trying to court my favor. But if that is the case, rest assured, I’ll keep you all updated. I have no interest in working for that brute.
