Clue 1: What was Parthenia described as?
Answer and Explanation
Answer: Quiet And Curious
Explanation: QOH04’s poem says 'Then Parthenia was quiet and curious’.
Summary of Receipt
They find Parthenia and Damaris Langley, update them on the whole Bartholomew thing, and obtain their stones, bringing the total to 7 out of 13. With this, Bartholomew should at least be contained, albeit not sent back. The two of them also know where Lazarus and Jethro Langley are - they were stolen by Mammon and are now in the Infernus. Still, that means Theodosia and Ursula Langley’s whereabouts are still unknown.

We found Parthenia and Damaris okay! And thankfully, they both still had their stones with them. They also know exactly where Lazarus and Jethro are! Though… they aren’t in the Necropolis. At least they are no longer in the Necropolis. Though I believe we needed to take a trip to Infernus anyway, right? However… that leaves Theodosia’s location as “unknown.” Oh, and Ursula too, though we aren’t even sure if she’s dead, right? In any case, Parthenia and Damaris were both very nice, and we’ve now got another three stones (counting Abner’s), bringing us up to seven out of thirteen! That should be enough to comfortably contain Bartholomew Langley… now we just need to send him home, like the Cafe does.
S.O.T.
No. 512: Um, excuse me, are you Parthenia, Damaris, and Theodosia Langley, by chance?
Damaris: Uh, somewhat. Parthenia, Damaris, and Abigail Langley.
No. 5: Abigail? Don’t tell me there’s a bloody secret Langley.
No. 4: Unlikely. How long have you been married?
Damaris: 196 years.
No. 5: Married? They’re sisters!
No. 512: [No. 5]…
No. 4: Obviously, Abigail married into the family.
No. 5: Oh. OH. No. Yeah, that makes a load more sense. Congrats. I heard you died alone.
Damaris: Who told you that?
No. 5: Fate by proxy. I’m up to speed now. Anyway, have you ‘eard about what’s happening in the Cimmerian Woods by chance?
Damaris: We haven’t heard anything. What about you Parthenia?
Parthenia: …it’s under attack, right?
No. 5: Absolutely. Now have you ‘eard who’s attacking them?
Parthenia: …a strong demon.
No. 5: A strong lumberjack of a demon.
Damaris: Lumberjack. Our papa? Are you insinuating our papa is attacking the woods?
No. 4: He is.
Damaris: That can’t be! He never made it to the Necropolis! We checked.
No. 4: He’s not supposed to be here.
No. 5: -which is why we need to borrow the stones Solomon made for you.
Parthenia: …Solomon? Did he send you?
No. 6: Yes. We’re working with Solomon, and your niece, Nicole, who has been running the Necropolis.
Damaris: Wait a second! OUR niece is running the Necropolis? What happened to Asmodeus? We have a niece?
Parthenia: …she was killed by the Morbid King.
No. 5: She was indeed killed by the Morbid King. And you certainly do have a niece, Nicole Langley. Infamous heartbreaker, prodigy magician, and daughter of Eddard Langley.
No. 6: If she wasn’t so busy keeping your father under control, I’m sure she’d love to meet both of you!
No. 4: ARGH!
No. 5: Oi! You alright, big guy?
No. 4: Yes… my arm…
[No. 4’s arm spasmed, striking Abigail, No. 512 helped restrain his arm.]
No. 4: Argh, sorry. Sometimes I can’t control it.
Damaris: That’s some arm you’ve got there.
Parthenia: …it’s a demon arm. Hauntaurskaldian. Its owner is still alive. That’s why you can’t fully control it.
No. 5: Still alive, eh? She’s a clever one, isn’t she?
No. 4: The stones…
No. 5: Right, right! By chance, do you have those stones we mentioned?
Damaris: Oh, yes, of course. Here you go.
No. 5: Perfect. Many thanks.
No. 6: We’ll let Nikki—or Nicole—know you’d like to meet her once this whole ordeal is over! Oh, also, do you know if Theodosia, Jethro, or Lazarus Langley are around?
Damaris: …
Parthenia: …they were taken.
No. 512: Taken?
Damaris: Stolen. By the Prince of Greed.
No. 5: Lawds above and below… Of course, he did. All three of them?
Parthenia: …just the boys. We’ve never seen Theodosia after death.
Damaris: Are you going to see them? Can you bring them back?
No. 4: Yes and no. We need their stones, but we can’t take them from the Infernus.
Damaris: Why not?
No. 5: It’s his bloody right to take whomever he pleases, sad to say.
No. 512: But isn’t he imprisoned?
No. 5: Sure, but then what happens when he gets out, and we’ve stolen some of his prizes, eh? He’d take the whole bloody Cafe back.
No. 512: Oh… that’s true.
No. 5: But… Lazarus… he was a quick wit with escaping, right?
Damaris: Unfortunately.
No. 5: Well, we can see about leaving them a “lockpick” of sorts. But we can’t do much more than that.
Parthenia: …thank you.
