The procedure was successful. I have a new arm now. It works ok. It's a little bit larger than my other arm. And it's red. Some of that is swelling, though. The Pathologist has assured me that it'll start to look more… human… within a few weeks. In the meantime, I need to have daily injections of black demon blood to keep my body from rejecting it. The Pathologist also mentioned there is a slight chance that the demon's bone might start to produce black blood naturally. However, black blood shouldn't agitate my Blight any worse. Worst case, the arm won't take a more human appearance.

Now, we need to pay for the darn thing. Thankfully the Pathologist did the work pro bono. However, the arm itself apparently cost us one Scepter of Mammon. The good news is we know where it's at, and it's not going anywhere. The bad news is we still need to go and get it, which requires a trip to the heart of Infernus in the palace of Mammon. It's got some sort of stupid name. Our end of the bargain is due July 1st. So, we need to start planning now. I know the other branches are working on some sort of "Langley" business. Perhaps they will require someone to go to Infernus, which we could handle.

It's hard to say what the long-term consequences of having a demon arm will be, but I trust the Pathologist's work on it. Although, another concern I have is that we don't know who the actual donor of the arm is. That is to say, we don't know whose arm it was prior to this. Knowing the source of the arm, it doesn't look like it actually belonged to her. Not enough feathers. I assume she scavenged it from Pandemonium. And unfortunately, that's the best-case scenario. Worst case, she stole it from someone. I guess, some plausible deniability is acceptable in this matter.

That's all. Manager No. 4
