Summary of Receipt
Galao, now a regular, powerless demon, agrees that if she dies she’d reincarnate as a regular human. And, being a Prince, that would be very bad. She’s also concerned about the rest of the CaD - being regular humans, they’d die after spending too long in the Necropolis, so their best shot is to get out of there. The only official portal is in the Spire, monitored by Asmodeus’ guards, but she’s confident there should be other unofficial portals elsewhere that they can talk to the locals about.

Sorry. I didn't mean to drag everyone into all of this. I didn't even mean to do anything beyond just inspecting the tag closer. But I guess just touching the portal was enough to cause it to activate and bring us all into the Necropolis. Not only that, but I also caused some sort of magical energy cascade that short-circuited my powers. I don't think it actually turned me into a human. That'd be a bit silly, but I certainly don't feel normal. It's like my connection to my plane has been severed entirely. And without my plane, I am more or less powerless.
And I believe Marocchino's right. If I die here, without my usual powers, I won't be able to prevent myself from reincarnating into a real flesh and blood human. That wouldn't be good. Princes aren't supposed to be humans. We can be dead, but we can't be humans. Though, assuming I am still a demon, being in the Necropolis itself, thankfully, won't actually kill me. You guys, on the other hand… You're going to die. It's at least a slow process, and we can do everything to prolong it from happening. But the best way to avoid that fate would be to find our way out of Asmi's Plane.
The only "official" portal I know of in the Necropolis is in Asmi's Spire. We aren't going to be able to get in there. Between the Labyrinth and her guards, avoiding that whole mess would be best. However, there have to be some unofficial portals around, possibly even the portal we used to get here. I think the best course of action would be to go and speak to the locals, people who have been here long enough to know the ins and outs of getting out. So, we're headed to the Ring of Scripts. If we find out what's up with the discontent among the Gens-Diabolique, great, but we shouldn't focus on that. We need to get you all back to the Flipside and fast.
