Clue 1: What's the proper term for coffee 'burning' someone? What does a liquid do, instead of 'burn'?
Clue 2: Complexico's not one to 'scold' - though it is a similarly-spelt word.
Clue 3: For those good at their lore, which 'scald' split in two? Alternatively, the word 'Praktikally' should tell you what to do.
Answer and Explanation
Answer: Skald
Explanation: The term for a burn from a liquid is ‘scald’, which, when replaced with a k, gives ‘Skald’. Additionally, the Skald was split into the Hauntaurskald and Esterskald in the Cafe and Diner’s pre-history.

THE OWNER
Really, #71? You might need to brush up on your demonic history, all things considered. There is, of course, a quite famous Skald split in two. Skald, by the by, sounds like scald, just a switch of the c and k. Bedda is also a nod to historic skald poets if Complexico was trying to keep things level for Flipside players. Are there Flipside players in this game? I mean, of course, the Cafe—though we are certainly more accustomed to coffee than not. Compleixco never did specify how many players would be in his comeback spectacular, outside of the obvious two: Us and the Open Doors Church.
Regardless, we’re getting close to the end. Hopefully, we will be the first to reach it to secure Complexico’s mysterious prize. While I don’t know what he might give out, I know that it’ll be something cosmically dangerous—it always is. That, and a sticker and certificate. How fun. Does anyone have thoughts on the penultimate puzzle?
“The game draws to an end so let us unwind.
Yet don’t despair…
There is still plenty of pep!
Sin, after all, is in.
And soon escapes Theli!
Case in point, let’s let loose a little.
Be at ease!
Pro, you might think me… but I had to do that one backward… Awkward.”
