Summary of Receipt
True to the Cold Prophecies, Julia returns. She’s now Manager 7 and has part of the Mantle of 8…somehow. Also, this is how the division of the Mantle went - around the time when the First Cafe closed, Jean/Manager 0 split the full Mantle into 3, giving it to Manager 1 and Employees 44A and 44B (Jennifer Hepburn, Nicole Langley and Nick Langley). 44B gave 0 his third back, but 44A split hers further (during the Other Cafe, likely) and passed it to Manager 4, Manager 5 and Manager 6 (Julius Mendoza, Jericho Myerscough and Joy Livingstone). Then somehow, J.L./Manager 3 got a piece from Belphegor, and Julia got a piece as well. Anyway, she asks Manager 3 if she can tag along and learn how to serve coffee. (note: i was wrong, Nikki (44A) at the very least only had an eighth of the Mantle, not a full third. the TriCaD only have 1/24 of the Mantle.)

Uhm, hi again, everyone. I’m… back? My memories are a bit fuzzy on what, uh, happened, but I just sort of woke up here again today. I guess I was missing? I mean, the calendar sure says I’ve been missing for like a month. And I guess while I was gone, the Cafe got sold? And now I’m a manager? I’m… very lost, honestly.
I guess I am an 8 technically? The primary 8, or uh Manager No. 0, can sort of “tell” if you are or aren’t an 8. I mean… what even is an 8 anyway? Like, I just thought it was sort of a title that everyone used to say, “hey I’m the owner of this Cafe,” but then like it’s also something that can be divided amongst people and passed down and aghhh, it’s all so confusing!! So I think Manager No. 0 is the 8 or at least the first 8. He then split his 8 into 3 pieces assuming he was going to die. He didn’t, so 44B gave him back his piece, Manager No. 1 obviously kept hers, and then 44A split her piece even further and gave it to Manager No. 4, 5, and 6. And somehow, in all that mess, Manager No. 3 got a piece from… ??? I guess from “Sophie,” whoever that is. And now I’m back, and I have a piece? Which…??? I don’t know. I mean, I’ll know... eventually, I hope. But for right now, I think it’s okay for me not to know.
So while I was gone, I guess the uh, mess got cleaned up, which is good. I’m still really, really, really, sorry about all of that. I didn’t know- well, I still don’t know exactly why they were after me. But I really appreciate all the help. And also, I’ve been getting accustomed to the CaDCom system, and it looks like some weirdness needs looking into. If you’re still looking for someone to accompany you, Manager. No. 3, I’m more than happy to help! Plus, it might be good to learn some of the ropes of this, uh, coffee business thing.
