I didn’t want to say too much about the Dark Netzach plan yesterday, seeing as it was an “Open” report. But I figure that a secret report should be okay. It’s not like I’m going to say how to make it here, just what it is. Or, at least, what it is—in theory. There’s no saying if our plans would’ve actually worked or not. And I never wanted to make a Dark Netzach, for the record. Even though I was completely out of my mind on the ambitions of a creep like Rune, I knew making a Netzach was dangerous. And Zagan wants to not only make a Netzach but… corrupt it. I suppose it’s par for the course considering his patron, the Pale.
So, what is a Dark Netzach? Well, I don’t think I need to say what a Netzach is here. It was mentioned elsewhere, and I probably don’t have the clearance to really go into it, either. What I can probably say is that it’s a man-made alchemical creation that, in a way, seeks to be a magnum opus. On its own, Netzach is neither good nor bad. It is literally an empty shell. Rune was working on a way to merge a person with the Netzach. The Kings of Roses took that research and attempted to merge the Planes of the Otherside with people, basically to create something higher than a Prince… a King.
We never wanted to make our own Netzach, though the general process would’ve been roughly the same. The big threat with Netzach is that if the secret of its construction gets out, well, everyone could be immortal. More than immortal. It really isn’t that hard to make one. With Rune’s memories, I know how to make just about every piece of one… minus, of course, the last secret step to activate the Netzach. Zagan also knows the steps but he intends to utilize his own final step—he doesn’t want to become a Netzach… he wants to resurrect the Pale into a Netzach.
