They really need to figure out a better mode of transportation down here. I am so sick of walking between the Rings. And now Galao and Black Coffee want Carajillo and I to return to the Discovery Ring from Lashedlet. While the majority of the Order of the Luminaries are busy adding new twists and turns to the Labyrinth, there should still be a few hanging around Leonardo’s place. Galao is looking for some sort of clamping device to help keep the Spire together while Carajillo slowly, slowly, S L O W L Y melts it together.
Or, ideally, someone in the Order might have something that can help magnify Carajillo’s fire to make this plan seem more realistic. I personally would lean toward Archimedes’ Death Ray myself, but really anything that can kick his fire into overdrive should work. Well, I guess the Death Ray would more so focus the light from Carajillo’s fire into a more deadly beam shape than actually magnify it. But that’s just getting into needless semantics. The point is we need some cool Order of the Luminaries tech or ideas to melt that big old skewer of dreams and death.
Though, I can’t help but notice Carajillo has taken us to the Crossroads Ring. Peculiar. I suppose that’s what I get for paying more attention to my CaDCom than where we were going. While I am cursed with unimaginable talents, typing, walking, and navigating simultaneously are not one of them. I suppose he might have just missed the exit to Leonardo’s pad back in the Discovery Ring, but… I’m curious to see where he’s taking us. He’s walking with such a determined purpose it’d be a shame to stop him now.
