Summary of Receipt

Americano sends an encrypted receipt. He’s currently infiltrating Astoria, soon to join Division Hotel. Americano also says to not expect much contact while they finish basic training, and mentions some 'big secret everyone's worried about', before advising the CaD to focus on Asmi and the Church for now. Also, Division Alpha of Astoria can apparently read minds, and Bravo does some sort of test.

Well, glad to see that this is working as expected. Or at least, it seems like it is on my end. I guess I’ll find out if you guys get this message or not later. In any case, the plan is going smoothly on my end. At least it seems like it is. I’ve cleared the basic security assessments, and I’ve been put through Bravo’s tests. Going off of what Espresso and Doppio have told me, I’d know if I failed. It seems like the only major concern now might be Alpha, though they shouldn’t have any reason to meet with me. If I do have to meet with Alpha for whatever reason, I’ve been working on my mental fortitude to keep our plans secret.

Thanks to my previous experience at the original Cafe and Diner, I got fast-tracked all the way up to Division Hotel. Code name over here in California. Or will be California. I don’t actually start until Monday. And I still have a month or two of basic training I have to go through. I don’t think I get a code name (or the security clearance) until then. So looks like I’ll be keeping up appearances for a while. Don’t expect to hear much from me until I’ve got that clearance. Unless, of course, I stumble upon this big secret everyone’s worried about. But, if it was that easy, it wouldn’t be worth doing all this, right?

And, unless Lungo disagrees, I think the best plan would be to avoid Astoria until I’ve got my title officially. Avoid in the sense of Cafe Rule No. 15. Don’t smile for too long. I’m sure you can handle that, J. And while we’re leaving them alone for the most part, that gives you all some time to look into Mistress or the remaining Churchgoers. Or, whatever it is, you guys are up to down there. Might as well figure out what Mistress is up to in any case. Maybe leave the lesser demons to the veterans. Or just ignore them altogether. Not like many demons want to mess with any of you anyway.

Okay, signing off for now. Hopefully, this reaches you.

See you all in a few months, I hope. Well, I’ll see some of you sooner than others, I suppose.
