Summary of Receipt
26 and 71 leave to investigate Mrs. Williams. Unfortunately there isn't too much known about it, since it only showed up for a while a hundred years ago. Still, it's presumably from the Esterskald, and it's possible it just...showed up naturally, via natural boundary line movement. For example, the closest portal it could have come from would be the Fort Benton portal, which is a bit too far away. The Teton River is also far too small - and specific - to be a portal. Though this does make the CaD's goal of returning it more challenging.

There is nothing I’d rather do than get out of this torrential downpour, unrelenting heat wave, and absolutely bone-chilling blizzard. I can handle one biblical plague, but three simultaneously is really pushing it, no? While I would love to stay, I fear I can do nothing more to help with Mr. Tormenta’s situation. So, I will accompany #26 to see this Terror of Women and Hens, also known simply as the Beast of the Teton River. They really could have done a better job naming this creature, but, alas, I suppose that is what you get when it only appeared for a few months in 1895.
I think it is quite clear that this is a cryptid hailing from the Esterskald, no? It is a large, agile beast with some sort of animalistic appearance. Possibly wolf-like, possibly horse-like, possibly buffalo-like, the jury is out, but that all sounds very Esterskaldian to me. The trick now is discerning where the tear in the Boundary Lines is that brought this beast to the Flipside. I assume it is a stable tear, some sort of portal near the Teton River. Why else would the beast return to the same spot 100 years later. Though, I suppose, the timing is such that it could be a natural movement of the Boundary Lines that brought it here.
Suppose that it was a stable portal. The closest known portal is all the way in Fort Benton. If this was the Beast of the Missouri River, sure, I could believe it. But Teton is simply too small and too specific. No, it must be some sort of centennial shifting. This does make returning the cryptid to its proper home quite a bit more challenging. Hopefully, these ramshackle cryptozoologists who reached out to us for help are more competent than they seem.
