Puzzle

“Red, Black, White, Yellow, Crimson, Ruby.”
Knowledge | 1 Word

Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: What comes in all these six forms?
Clue 2: Red and Black would be the most familiar, I think, but this still requires quite a lot of general knowledge.
Clue 3: See Debt Come Due's DD-WVW03. Alternatively, check out the BIB- receipts.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Blood
Explanation: Blood comes in all those colors. Additionally, in DD-WVW03, it says “You could also say it's six states of blood being corrupted, red, black, white, yellow, crimson, and ruby.”

Summary of Receipt

Pathologist investigates Nine's data, believing them to be incredibly 'astonishing' Blood Signatures: essentially, blood with only readings from one Plane; with that Plane's reading being near +1000 (the maximum). That basically implies Nine's got the Planes' 'blood'. What's far more concerning is that those numbers aren't pure - Hauntaurskald's, for example, has some Extracyclical Elder Blood in there, while both Morningstar and Infernus are being 'corrupted'. He suspects this to be the work of the Kings of Roses, which is quite concerning.

I've been pouring over Nine's data, and it is… concerning, to say the least. Not only is it concerning, but I also believe it might be connected to the activities of the Kings of Roses. Though Nine did not outright say that the data he was collecting or presenting was Blood Signatures, with a bit of converting, I believe that is exactly what they are. Moreover, assuming my calculations are correct, they would be truly astonishing Blood Signatures indeed.

Signature one collected from Morningstar:

+999.99995L 0M 0S 0B 0BB 0LE 0A 0E 0EE 0EEE

Signature two collected from Infernus:

0L +999.99984M 0S 0B 0BB 0LE 0A 0E 0EE 0EEE

Signature three collected from Hauntaurskald:

0L 0M 1000S 0B 0BB 0LE 0A 0E 0EE +0.1611938112EEE

Blood Signatures of the Planes themselves. Blood, in the esoteric sense, is ultimately an identifier of one's soul composition. What little pieces of each Plane tug and pull at a soul upon reincarnation as a demon—or birth as a demon for the Blooded Demons. It has always been… "fringe" science, even among the supernaturally inclined. Of course, it's as fringe as palmistry, which is to say, while the meanings of each line are unknowable, each palm is still unique in composition. Truly it is the only serious application of Blood (with the capital B) that exists. It is fantastic for tracking and identifying Demons and Cryptids.

But now, here, Nine has collected almost pure signatures. Almost pure. That is a problem. A bigger problem is when we see that the Hauntaurskald has begun to accumulate some sort of EEE surplus. EEE, typically denoting Elders of Extra-Cyclical origin, should not be appearing in a Blood Signature of the Hauntaurskald itself. Likewise, Morningstar and Infernus should not have… "incomplete" readings for their own unique Blood type. Now, what could be corrupting the Blood of the Planes themselves, drawing a foreign surplus to itself? The Kings of Roses. How, why, and for what purpose? I haven't the slightest idea. I've never been one to look too much into Blood Signatures when liquid blood is so much more fascinating.
