Summary of Receipt
Nikki makes a Halloween report. With Robert dealt with, she thanks Barista for joining their Cafe temporarily (he’s working with the Third Cafe, after all) and recaps the Dark’s activites. Aplut’s left the Dark, and probably also Florida for the whole Staff of Solomon thing. Cannon and Gemini were newly recruited, Cannon to obtain a ‘mechanism’ (see 10/25/17, the one about Nom de Plume) helpful to the Dark and Gemini currently unknown. Pleasant’s location is still unknown. She then decides to focus on the mechanism the Dark’s searching for, and whether or not they can get or destroy it.

First and foremost, Happy Halloween, CaD. I know between the Dinner Party from Hell and the Reign of Robert, it has been an exciting week leading up to today. Still, I want to thank you all for your excellent work.
An extra special thanks to Barista for assisting us this month, and you are more than welcome to stop by in the future should things get too boring at your Cafe.
As a recap of what we have learned of the Dark and their plans this month, Aplut is out, and Cannon and Gemini are in. After the Scepter stunt Florida pulled I wouldn’t be surprised if he is also out. Cannon was brought on specifically to target a mechanism of interest to the Dark. Gemini’s involvement remains unknown at this time. Pleasant is still missing.
Looks like next month, we’ll need to focus on the mechanism and see if we can’t obtain or destroy enough of it to hinder the Dark. But today, relax, enjoy the festivities, and rest up for next month.
