Summary of Receipt

35 visits one of the Satan SUCKSS meetings and complains about how 'infantilized' she felt. More importantly, she confirms that only two of the children there had been visited by Umbra - Nelson Galloway and Wanda Parrish. She also complains about ‘Jan’, Nelson’s mother. The other children - and adults - were 'tinted' by Umbra's influence, but nowhere close to being directly affected by Umbra. 35 decides to track down Wanda to investigate Umbra's visit to her.

Well, that made me want to rip out my hair. I know Padre is just using these moms, and they aren’t actually evil demons or anything like that, but wow, they are annoying. I don’t know if I’ve ever been that infantilized before. Also, I feel like I know more about Umbra than you do, Jan, so shut up. I don’t think I’ll be going back to next Friday’s meeting because I would rather die. But it was still worth going as I got a pretty good look at the other “victims” of Umbra.

“Victims” in quotes because, as I suspected, he only actually visited two other teens. At least that’s what my planchette was showing. One was Nelson Galloway, Jan’s kid, which probably sparked this whole hysteria. The other was Wanda Parrish. I don’t know Wanda very well, as she doesn’t even go to Wilson, but she definitely had the astral “gunk” of Umbra in her subconscious. And while the rest of the “therapy group” weren’t directly visited by Umbra, they did have a sort of “tint” of Umbra’s magic over their subconscious but nothing like the actual darkness he brings with his sleep paralysis.

I wish I could have gotten a better look at everyone, but JAN freaked out when I pulled out my planchette. I almost had to pry it away from her because she was convinced it was a demonic object that needed to be destroyed. I guess, yeah, it is a demonic object, but it’s Ouroborian, JAN. It’s not Hauntaurskaldian. But she wouldn’t know that would she? JAN. ALSO, NEWS FLASH JAN, PADRE IS LITERALLY SATAN. Oh, Jan. Jan, Jan, Jan. She gets under my skin. I’m going to see if I can figure out where Wanda goes to school so I can talk to her a bit about her visitation from Umbra. I guess I COULD also ask Nelson, but he’d probably bring it up with his mom, and if I have to interact with Jan one more time, I think I will actually lose it.
