Nine and I made it to the Esterskald safely. While we could have either taken one his magic time-books or the Agency’s teleporters we both decided that the least vomit-inducing way to get to the Esterskald would be through a Fairy Circle. For whatever reason, using Fairy Circles cuts interdimensional displacement sickness almost entirely. I’ve never actually met Nine before this, though I’ve obviously heard a lot about him as the head of one of the major supernatural organizations of the world. He isn’t really what I was expecting, to be honest. He’s a lot more… normal?
I don’t know how to put it, I was expecting a very strange old man, but Nine seems fairly down to Earth, if a bit scatterbrained. But I imagine he’s got so many different timelines rattling around in there, it’d be hard not to be a little scatterbrained. Anyway, we were able to get the data he was looking for from all the major regions of the Esterskald. We only encountered a little bit of trouble when we attempted to get data from the Hollow.
Since Beelzebub’s death no one has been conducting the feasts of the Hollow, and without the feasts many of the Esterskald’s Cryptids and Demons have gone feral with hunger. Some, well I would hope most, have already readjusted to hunting for their own food, but the Demons and Cryptids who were once seated near the top of the feast have completely lost themselves to hunger. I’m honestly a little surprised no Demon has attempted to take over the Hollow yet. I imagine it’d be rather easy if they had enough food to feed the masses. Though… I suppose getting that much food, and getting it consistently, is probably easier said than done.
