Well, gang, bad news. Or just news, depending on how you look at it. We need to take a trip to the Black Garden. The Den of Thorns. The Web of Lies. The First and Last Sin. You know, Black Eden. Side note, are we really all set on the name “Black Eden?” It feels lazy to me. I know it’s the nomenclature being used by other GCE, and it’s what Willow DeWeaver called it, and it is her dominion to rule over, but it just feels… I don’t know. Too on the nose? A hat on a hat? Like, we had the Black Tide, and then Eden replaced it, so now we have… Black Eden. Not that I really should be the one in charge of naming planes, either.

The point is: I can take us there. The one bright side of Black Eden (and there are not a lot of bright sides in that place) is that it’s more accessible than its former Tide incarnation. Still, not a place you just stumble into, but I at least know the general direction it’s tucked away in, plus you know with the Miracles and all, I can get us there. I do say “us” because I don’t really want to go there alone. I mean, I’ve only been there once before, and it was a pretty miserable place.

So… I’m open to hearing who’d like to join me on this harrowing journey into the deepest, darkest, dankest pits of Hell. Twain has already passed, and I don’t blame her. She’s already been saddled with the unpleasantry of paying Indigo Prime a visit. It’d be cruel to make her also tag along to Black Eden with me. At least we can go to Black Eden without causing a literal meltdown of the higher-ups. Though I’m sure, Alfa must be getting annoyed with all the sneaking around we’ve been doing. But I have to imagine Aayush did a hell of a lot more sneaking than we’ve been doing.
