Summary of Receipt

125 complains about how unpleasant it is to investigate dead flies during summer in Texas. On a more serious note, she decides to start trying to track down how the flies are linked to Mrs. Honey, since when she was killed the flies also drop dead. Also, 134's been gathering some of those flies to do some 'experiments' on them, which will hopefully reveal a link to Honey.

CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM */11/17
MANAGER 125
RECEIPT: FESTERINGFLIES02
STATUS: OPEN

Wow. There is nothing I love more than dead bugs and Lone Star in the summer. This was a great receipt for us to pick up. Stellar. Seriously, no notes. All of our cases should be more like… this. I’m worried that my sarcasm isn’t conveying over text enough, and J isn’t getting the subtle hint that I hate this. And honestly? I probably shouldn’t be here. I get that 134 is here because of the overwhelming number of dead things, which gets him going in weird and creepy ways. And 224 is here in case some of her special talents are needed. But me? I feel like I got roped into this because we unfairly do everything as a trio.

Well, at the very least, I can take 3113’s advice and try and find the next swarm of flies. Though, so far, that’s been pretty unsuccessful. This seems like it was probably either a one-off freak event or it was somehow related to Mrs. Honey. I mean, let’s think about this, Mrs. Honey shows up, flies show up, Mrs. Honey gets her tab paid in full, and all the flies drop dead. I don’t think it’s exactly coffee science here. So, then I guess the question is, how are the flies related to Mrs. Honey?

To answer that question, it would probably help if Mrs. Honey didn’t have her tab paid out so we could do a bit more investigation into the possible connections. Well, at the very least, 134 has been scooping up buckets of these dead flies and will be doing some experiments on them. What is he planning on doing? I have no idea. But hopefully, whatever it is can tie the flies officially to Mrs. Honey, and we can get the hell out of Lone Star.
