Summary of Receipt
Mrs. Felt has become increasingly hostile. 62 and 'Mira', mother of Daniel Hamilton, have been working together to try and contain them. However, that's harder than it seems. Back in the 80s, when Hamilton had first started guarding the Hotbed, Dr. Crow stole something valuable from him, leading to him gaining power before being first stopped in 1993, then killed in 1995. Thing is, when Crow died, the House on Dracula Drive was sealed away, causing that valuable item - and the House - to be lost forever. Which means Mira and 62 can't guard the Hotbed as effectively as they used to.

The situation here has gotten steadily worse. Now the Melonheads seem to be out for blood. I’m not sure if it’s to avenge their fallen creator or if they are just acting on some sort of feral instinct now. I’ve done my best to not engage with them, but unfortunately, I have had to kill a handful of them. As far as I know, they haven’t had the chance to attack any tourists—yet. Mira’s been working overtime to keep them as contained as possible, but something’s got to give.
Speaking of, I met up with Mira, albeit briefly. This’ll be more or less a recap for most of you, but her son, Daniel Hamilton, had taken over the family business of protecting the Hotbed about 10 years ago. Within his first year of protecting the Hotbed, Hamilton lost something important to Dr. Crow leading to his steady rise in power. Fast forward to 1993, when the Cafe and Diner stepped in to help stop Dr. Crow from executing his first formal attempt at total world control. As you all know, we were successful, minus the casualties. Dr. Crow recently made another attempt using Miss. Xulfa, but we thwarted him again—again, minus the casualties. The good news is that Dr. Crow is dead.
Bad news is his death has also led to the loss of whatever it was he stole from Hamilton in the 80s. Mira was very tight-lipped about it, but I assume whatever it was that Dr. Crow stole, it was in the House on Dracula Drive when it closed. And without Dr. Crow, the House on Dracula Drive is gone. So, Mira can’t do much against the Melonheads—or any future threats to the Hotbed. Which is bad. If I had known there was something I needed to take out of the House before it disappeared, I would have, but… well, the Hotbed is quite literally a hotbed now if Mira is unable to guard it as she has in the past.
