Passwords/Receipts

Summary of Events

Someone - possibly 8 - goes over the CaD's password protocol and receipt lingo.

Restored Tweet

Text has been lost in data corruption.

In the missing tweet, the phrase "/yummylinks1" was mentioned. This leads to tinyurl.com/yummylinks1

This is something a little different. I thought I would go over password protocol for newer patrons.

Rule number 1: Passwords are always Case Sensitive and always use proper capitalization unless it's obvious it won't
Rule number 2: Passwords use spaces not underscores
Rule number 3: If the information in general knowledge the password will be IN PLAIN SIGHT
Rule number 4: If the information is a receipt the password will have something to do with the dining experience
Rule number 5: If the information is coffee there won't be a password, and remember coffee can be sweetened
Rule number 6: If the information is corporate a certain number of phrases will be used for the password
Rule number 7: If the information is urgent a predetermined password will be used and it will be EASY
Rule number 9: These are more guidelines than hard rules

To test out your password prowess here's a link to some general knowledge about receipt lingo, to help you get a grasp on Manager 2213's most recent receipt: https://privatebin.net/?95efd538dd24cd29#jFj1EQkh9VSEM3+cdoyKeG75VcKD1USgGwN+48XXXOs=

Understanding Cafe and Diner Receipts

Name of manager/patron/corporate
Who or what we're tracking
Dine-in means we went to them, take-out means they came to us
The order lists important aspects of the case. Most notably if something ends with the word "special" it is not an established codeword and is only intended for one time usage
The total is meaningless for anyone who isn't corporate. It's just for filing purposes.

The comments sections is littered with Cafe Lingo. Some important ones to keep in mind...

Breakfast = 1st encounter
Brunch = 2nd encounter
Lunch = 3rd encounter
Late Lunch = 4th encounter
Dinner = 5th encounter
Desert = 6th encounter
Juice = To capture, contain, or relocate
Has picked up tab = Has been dealt with
Has not picked up tab = Still at large
Ottawa = the Other Side
Tour of Corporate = Long Beach
