Summary of Receipt

Manager 5 announces the plan. They’ll gather the stones together before July 8th and pre-emptively get rid of Bartholomew before Satan and the Morbid King can do whatever they want. Thankfully, according to Solomon, the stones follow the ‘will of the Langleys’, so if at least seven of the thirteen concentrate on sending Bartholomew home, it should work. The only issues are how the Morbid King got Bartholomew into the Necropolis in the first place, if he hasn’t taken away Ursula and Magdalena’s stones, and whether or not he’ll interfere with the ritual.

Right, so we need to work out exactly what our own plan is, choice? I'm all for No. 7 showing up and putting on a proper show for our best of friends, but let's face it, we don't know what we're up against. Right now, we know what we are, but we don't know what we may be. As it were. At least we've been working out a few different plans since this whole bloody Langley affair began. Right now, our best bet is the plan: Wolf's Bane and Birch Trees.

I reckon No. 6 already touched upon it, but the plan is simple. Satan, Umbra, and the Morbid King are planning to break open a Gate on the 8th. Gate to Eden, most likely. And we figure they need some sort of combination of No. 7's touch and the Langley Stones. If No. 7 refused, Satan would have unleashed chaos, death, and destruction on the West Coast. We've already neutralized that threat. But now, if we don't gather all the Langley Stones, Bart won't stop chopping, and the Morbid King will continue his conquest of the Otherside and eventually Flipside.

So, we need to neutralize Morbid's weapon before the ritual even takes place. Take all the pressure off of us, yeah? Give us a bit of time to figure out a more permanent way to pay everyone's tabs. Now, how are we going to do that? Solomon has confirmed that the stones work off of a loose collective "will" of the Langleys. If 7 out of the 13 focus on one task (and the other stones are nearby), it should work. And luck would have it, all 13 stones should be in the Necropolis. So, we'll do our own ritual ahead of schedule and send big man Bart back to where he belongs.

The only major problems ahead of us are that we still don't know how Morbid got Bart into the Necropolis the first time, and we can't be sure all 13 stones will be there to perform the ritual. Also, once we start the ritual, if Morbid is keeping a close eye on Ursula or Maggie, then our little ploy will probably be given away. However, Solomon is certain that the ritual to put Bart back into the Everwoods should take at most a minute. It's worth the risk, in my opinion.
