Summary of Receipt

Shaka explains why exactly he allowed 71 to die - either she died or everyone would. It was necessary to buy even a few months of time to plan how to settle their Debt. Now, there’s an issue. The Ouroboros is still where it’s supposed to be, and so time flows normally. If Eden were to return and replace the Ouroboros, things would probably go horrendously out of control, the Devil would return, and in comes the 17th Sphere. Thankfully, almost everyone who’s able to shift Eden into the Sphere - like Eve - is aware of this, and Eve probably has another way to return. Shaka would probably just rewrite the entire universe, but the question is what Eve has planned.

As you’ve probably already seen, our first stop will be in the land of Coffee with Cream. Honestly, it’s been a long time coming. It’s been just over three years since they lost their primary distributor. While we are passingly acquainted with our new Coffee with Cream distributor, it wouldn’t hurt to have a sit down with Paul O. Nightmyrs and get to know him better. While it would be reasonably trivial to get over there for a day trip, extended stays up north are always tricky. And while Solomon and No. 26 firmly believe at least two Langley’s can be found there, we don’t know exactly where they are or if there might be more.

So, I think the best plan would be to have a small group head out on Wednesday, for they say home is where the House is. So obviously, No. 323. I’d also like to have No. 7 tag along due to her newly discovered lineage. No. 17 should also accompany due to his long-term service to the pursuit of Coffee with Cream. And it almost goes without saying that No. 26, No. 44, and Solomon Langley will join them as well. Meanwhile, myself and No. 2 will keep an eye out for Abner Langley here. And any other living Langley’s, I suppose.

As for everyone else? Business as usual, I’d imagine. Though it is best to keep an eye out for any unexpected spiders. It would be an awful shame to step on them, right? Other than that, we could probably do with a week or two of housekeeping and catching up on old cases and paperwork. Until then, keep the coffee hot, keep smiling, and remember, a quiet day is a good day.
