Summary of Receipt

Employee 1313 has a daydream about Mr. Lucia (the Dark Watchers), along with some sort of prophecy. Certain Elders from the Black Tide attempted to chop down a ‘cypress tree’, which was then chopped and turned into the Gates of Hell by ‘elements primal’. All the while, the Dark Watchers silently observed. (i think). She asks 71 and 323 to help her investigate.

As I was serving the usual brew, I had a thought that I could not shake. What it means, if anything, remains a mystery. Though I could not help but sit down to write it out at my nearest break. You can see it down below and perhaps you might even know? Though I can say along with these intruding thoughts came a name into my head, “Mr. Lucia” is what it read. In any case, the daydream I witnessed was:

I found myself lost upon a dreary hidden lane somewhere between the perceivable earthly planes. It was like a realm betwixt the bending bilboes of reality, a hidden shore where blackened tides lapped at a lone cypress tree. Those inky black waves filled rooted clepsydrae turning the clear waters within them a murky phantom gray. Then I saw over my shoulder a set of disembodied watchers watching as the elements primal had the tree chopped, measured, sanded, painted, and cropped. The tree as ancient as the word was made into a haunting visage of a keyless door, and those watchers chose to watch it some more. With each turn of the incorporeal knob the watchers watched as their task grew into a sisyphean job. Though many years have since passed, the knob yearns to be turned once more at last.

This scene which I have pondered might just cause me to wander from my peninsular post. If it is as I fear, we are not anywhere near where Mr. Lucia may leer. It would seem that the Managers are tied up with string so perhaps 71 could accompany me to look into such a thing? We could use a hand from the accursed church as well if we are in the area, perhaps 323 could join our spree? And as mentioned, if this prose sparks something within you dear patrons, please let me know.

Comments

The_Librologist: Well far be it from me to state the obvious but, just looking at what you've written there, it looks like it could be related to a certain Debtor, yeah? Maybe there's a link between them and Lucia

Dwindling Lavender: Well... it is rather interesting. The link between Mr. Lucia and a Debtor of ours is, of course, a glaring issue. But the door, I think, holds my attention slightly more. Its knob wants to be turned once again, after so long. But should we turn it? Should we open this august door? And if we do open it, are we ready to face what's inside?

Sincerely, Dwindling Lavender
