Clue 1: What is "Fast Food Chain" code name for?
Clue 2: What symbol is usually think of to finish up the Shakespare quote?
Clue 3: Look at II-TFF01 real careful.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Cult Of Despoina
Explanation: Fast Food Chain is code name for Cult. In II-TFF01, Despoina is introduced, whose name is derived from Greek des-potnia, "lady/mistress of the house". Combine the two together, and we got the Cult of Despoina.

Summary of Receipt

The Managers all discuss 6’s prophetic poem. 3 suspects that the Finfolk are the ones giving the prophecy instead of Badb, since they have Elder blood. Anyway - the Xoanonj are probably a reference to the ‘Cult of Despoina’ - a group of finfolk who worship, well, Despoina. They likely originate from the Otherworld’s southern plane, Ichor (probably Olympus). We also know the last plane, referred to as Mead (Alfheim). Anyway, yeah, the Otherworld’s a pretty big deal if that’s the case. Apparently the Otherside itself has some ‘lesser’ or perhaps ‘sub’ planes itself (the Cusps?), as well. Anyway, their main focus now is to find four antekeys in order to reach the Antechamber in the End.

THE MANAGERS

We need to understand what Manager 6's prophetic poem meant. Here's an open forum for you to post your thoughts on it. I know we don't tend to use this feature in favor of just sitting down together, but considering we're a bit spread out now, I think it'd be best to do it online. -J

"They come from the depths

Blood black and cold as death

Ice grip they hold the pearl

Wicked xoanonj clamor to the waves

They move under the will of their goddess Erinys

Her name is now lost to the ages, but the shores still whisper it."

6: It was like some kind of... psychic attack on me. I don't remember posting that. I don't even know how to change the website's background color!

3: It could be Badb, but I think it might be the actual Finfolk doing this. Aren't they Elders?

1: Could be, but why refer to themselves as "They"? Shouldn't it be "We"? And they just have Elder blood, iirc.

3: Oh, ok. Hey, didn't Florida deal with Xoanon before?

6: In a way, yes. Though I would say Gemini was a bit more... complicated than any of this. We dealt with twin Xoanon brought to life. But I think here, it just means, like, cult effigies.

4: Cult of Despoina

5: Yes, that's what I was thinking too... Name lost to the ages is pretty clear. Do we have any files on them?

1: Maybe? I mean, in a historical sense, yes, but a modern sense? I don't think so. Are you thinking...?

5: Are you?

4: Seems like it. Ichor.

3: Damn, this Otherworld has serious weight if that's the case.

0: There is no doubt left then, is there? The Otherworld is indeed an intrusive alterant force. Nothing we can do to change that; we'll just need to learn to play by its rules.

1: So, it's just Applejuice, Amazake, Ichor, and Mead, right?

0: It would seem that way, though... Well, you know 1, there is always the chance what we see is only what our eyes let us see. Take the Otherside, for example, we often only see seven planes, but that isn't quite true.

1: Ah. Gotcha. So there could be other smaller planes?

0: Almost certain of it. Though for the time being, we should focus our efforts on what Miss. Bad has told us. Four cardinal planes and four antekeys.

3: Where is the antechamber, though?

0: As I said... Almost certain of it.
