KRONOS CAFE RECEIPT FROM 3/12/13
RHYME
RECEIPT: IN THE MANOS OF MUERTE
STATUS: OPEN
The marmoreal mammoth of the Eastend Mall loomed overhead as Coven, and I searched for the hidden tomb of the good Doctor called Dead. Strange, usually a doctor is the one to make a house call, yet here we tread to find his hidden shed. What lurks within we can’t yet know, but it is sure to bring nothing but dread.

Speaking of dread, a presence made itself known to myself, and myself, alone. An eldritch voice called to me from beyond the walled urban blight of the Eastend Mall. It whispered words that chilled my spine and froze my soul. Its voice rang out throughout my skull like a finely tuned death knoll. The name of the beast I dare not fathom, but it calls itself in the mortal tongue by the name of Phantom. One of the Cold and Old and Elder few who existed before the Light of Genesis was spewed. It makes its home within the brain of Edgar Lane, a deadbeat warlock and underdog shepherd of the Eidolon gang.

The mall which portends the Eastend is alive and aware of all who step foot within its urban snare. It itself is one with the Phantom, and thus the Phantom knows of our affairs within the Eastend District as long as we are there. All this to say, we need to take due care that we do not upset an Elder of the arctic air. The worst we’ve seen has been a has-been gameshow host, but do not expect the same pleasantries with the Phantom and its kin or mortal ghost.
