I wish I had better news. The scratch hasn’t healed yet. It isn’t healing at all. Stitches have only been able to keep the cut together. Not even the Pathologist could stitch this one up. I appreciate his time, though. I know coffee isn’t quite his game these days. Still, there’s no doubt about it now. It is magical in nature. Tied to Miss. Augustine’s power. And, of course, all of this magic is just fuel to the Wicked’s flames.
The good news is that we have a few contingency plans in place should things get too hot. No point in detailing them all out here. I wouldn’t want to worry our friends. However, for those curious or in the “need-to-know,” I’ll have No. 5 write up a Discursive Draft outlining the main points. I can’t control what he does or doesn’t share, but I assume he’ll do a good enough job. ‘Til then, I’ll be waiting for T2B1. Understand?
For now, though, I need to rest. It seems that any physical exertion on my end aggravates the magic attached to the cut. The best I can do now is lay low and stay still. Sleep is the only respite on the table right now. Even if my dreams are drenched in a burning Wicked Funk. So, if you don’t hear from me for a while, don’t worry. I’m fine. This isn’t a goodbye. Just an update.
