Gadzooks things are getting more and more demonic by the day here. It's starting to remind me of the Vile City with all these demons running around. Peanut butter and jelly on toast, we need to figure out a new base and fast. From the grapevine, I've heard ol' Scratch is moving back in on the 12th of next month. Though it seems like the old man could show up any day now. A week or two ago, it was just little imps pattering about, but now the heavy hitters are starting to show up.

Just today, I was helping load some notebooks up, and some really strange character decided to lend me a hand. I didn't quite catch his name… uh Jacob or something like that. He was a demon, alright. Powerful demon too. With a reasonable degree of certainty, I'd say he's no ordinary demon but a blooded demon. Didn't stick around to ask the fellow his whole life story, though, but he had a thick central European accent. Made it hard to really hear what he was saying, but he said something about the walls in the church are lovely and that we have a lot of books and mugs. Then we laughed a bit about how we don't even really serve all that much coffee, and he was gone. I'm not sure what his game is, but he's up to something. I can tell.

I also saw Miss. Cece loitering about. She's got a new glamor on, but I could still tell it's her. And, of course, I've seen some other non-descript creeps about. There was this one lady with a real big hat on, and I doubt she's human. But if Cece's here and some other high-ranking demon-types… well… Scratch can't be far behind. So we need to wrap this move up this weekend. Me and No. 44 have spent quite a while around Padre Santos, and son of a pup, he doesn't mess around. At least we're on decent terms with him, but any inkling, we're in his way, and he'll bring down h-e-double hockey sticks on us. That much I can say with 100% certainty.
