Alright, Naberius has stepped off stage to greet a new group of tourists who just stumbled in. Now is our best chance to alert Marocchino of our intentions to stop her band’s performance. Each time Naberius takes his leave of the drums, the band takes a few precious ehs to chat and plan out their next set. Romano is working on a way to signal Marocchino of the plan. In a sense, we want to disrupt the frequency of their equipment, something our CaDComs should be able to do.
Ramano mentioned a slightly hidden feature he noticed in our CaDComs. I have no idea how he found something so tucked away in what seems to be prior versions of the devices. It was behind quite a few layers of security and even a few hardware locks. In any case, at some point, our CaDComs must have been able to seal off small tears in the boundary lines by matching their electromagnetic signatures. I’m not sure why such a feature was turned off, though. With a bit of tweaking, we could perhaps turn it into a directional EMP of sorts. A signal that could take the band’s equipment temporarily out.
I did clear this with Red Eye first, naturally. I would hate to accidentally disrupt the Clockwork Serpent’s own powers, bringing the entire Gossamer Ballast down. Now, making an EMP “directional” is possible, of course, though impractical. I’m no physicist, though. To be fair, the CaDComs are no work of Flipside physics, either. Their electromagnetic capabilities veer more into the realm of the Otherside, if anything. Thankfully, Galao is somewhat familiar with the technology and can hopefully get things working. And perhaps we can even restore the portal closing technology of the CaDComs? I would think that could be quite useful.
