RECEIPT FILED AS: C-TOB-02

My, I do love how talented my daughter is… but they should really consider taking a break. One can only listen to a Siren’s mewling howls for so many ehs… though it’s starting to feel more like ughs. At the very least, they could turn it down a bit. I can feel my skull rattling in my head, and we haven’t been able to hold a decent conversation since they started playing. Again—love their sound. It’s so unique and very them. But please, Dark Lord, make them take a break.

I suppose this is the trouble of being in a timeless void. Things like exhaustion don’t creep up on you in the same way. Even the effects of alcohol seem to be stuck in a sort of standstill, much to my dismay. I fear they might just play forever at this rate if we aren’t able to stop them. Though the security around the stage is rather exceptional, almost as if Mistress wants them to keep playing no matter what, and perhaps I’ve discovered why that is. I’ve noticed three new humans who have stumbled into the Gossamer Ballast.

While I wasn’t able to ask them much due to the noise, I got the sense that they were lured here, as if by a Siren’s song. Or a piper’s melody. Or a demon’s drums. Or my fantastic and wonderful daughter’s “shredding,” naturally. Is that the right term? Whatever the case, it’s clear new tourists are being brought into the Ballast of their own volition now, and without the insight that this is secretly a trap, they will party here in perpetuity. I think our immediate goal should be to find a way to stop my daughter’s band… or at least dampen its sound a bit.
