Ah, don’t you just hate it when the CaDCom’s transcription feature gets interfered with… by our own employees, nonetheless. I wonder what was so sensitive that Belphegor thought it wise to cut the transcription off then and there. I’m being coy if it doesn’t come off that way. Obviously, it is a secret I am already well enough privy to. Also, to clarify the apparent confusion between Solomon Langley and Employee No. II, Belphegor, Solomon, works for her. He’s a witch of the Ouroboros. The name is coincidental, prophetic at best, eh?

Now, I suppose it falls upon myself to explain what the deal is with the Langley’s while tactfully avoiding the parts I think Belphegor wants to be left unsaid. The most manageable information to convey now would be that each Langley child was entrusted with a particular magical stone. With all thirteen stones together, the current “Queen of Hell,” Nicole Langley, would be able to stop Bartholomew Langley and return him to the Everwoods in the Esterskald. To that end, we need to track down all thirteen Langleys, secure their stone, and give them to Nicole. Currently, she has already been given two stones, No. 26 and Solomon’s, which at the very least slows Bart’s progress.

Now, onto the why this is happening. It is a mystery, eh? Or a thinly veiled plot by Fate to get all thirteen stones in one place. And yes, are we not playing right into Fate’s hands? Yes and no. We’re in what I suppose could be considered a check of sorts. Either we get the stones to stop Bart or… Bart breaks another Sacred Seal, accelerating our path toward the apocalypse. The final apocalypse. So, we’re damned if we do, damned if we don’t. Per usual, eh?
