That was… unexpected. The whole “new management” thing. It feels like a reboot no one asked for where they brought back the same cast, but this new director doesn’t get the source material. Well, we’ll make it work. Also! I’m considered important enough to be on the chain of command! So this is how the Secretary of Commerce feels. It feels… powerful.

But enough fooling around, still no sign of Julia anywhere. I’ve been talking with 8 or uh Manager No. 0 or whatever we’re doing with this name thing, and he’s worried that Mr. Cold might’ve had something to do with her disappearance. Which… I don’t know if that’s better or worse than Miss. Masoch. Speaking of, we still need to clean up that mess. It’s been a month, and tourists are starting to get a little too interested in that locale.

Although, that is also one of the few places I haven’t checked yet either. I don’t know… I don’t really want to go back there. Not alone, at least. Plus, I’m worried that “funk” will mess with my powers again. And I also guess maybe I’m a bit scared that Masoch isn’t dead, dead. In that spirit, though, I think I know who can help. Don’t know if they’ll help. But it’s worth a shot. I’ll have Langley set it up. Or 44B. Whatever, I’m too tired to learn new numbers right now.
