Summary of Receipt
3/29/2113: The three of them track down Deadhand. After some dialogue - the most important information being ‘Bangboozle’, a gun manufacturer, along with the ‘League’. There’s also mention of a ‘Last Cafe’, which Deadhand finds very sceptical is them. Anyway, Warren teleports behind Deadhand, steals his stuff and warps out with the other two.

KRONOS CAFE RECEIPT FROM 3/27/13 WARREN RECEIPT: IN THE MANOS OF MUERTE STATUS: OPEN Well, it could have gone worse, I suppose. But, Dowser was right about Dr. Deadhand's location, and we were able to infiltrate without too much effort. Of course, we were hoping he had gone home for the night, but we also could've guessed he'd be a night owl. Anyway, we had a short, tense chat with Dr. Deadhand, and then we warped the hell out of there. So, the bad news is he knows our faces. The good news is, he might not convey that information to Big Bad. Scry said he's a bit of a lone wolf, and I don't know how seriously he took our bluff.
S.O.T.
DH: Vistors? Isn't it a bit late?
C: Doctor Deadhand, I presume?
DH: How long have you waited to say that? Also, if you know who I am, you should know to be scared.
CK: If you knew who we were, you'd be right scared too, partner. Now we don't want any unnecessary violence.
DH: So you're, what, Good Guys?
W: What makes you think that, doctor?
DH: Everyone else always loves the violence part, except the Good Guys. Then again, those black market revolvers you're pointing at me aren't very "Good Guys," are they? No doubt, they're Bangboozle’s. So then what, Eidolons? League members come to punk me out? Huh? You aren't Bad Guys, I'd know.
C: It doesn't matter who we are.
DH: Come now, everyone is with someone in Dive. No one works without colors. Well, no one works long without colors.
W: It's true. We have an organization of sorts. Not one you've heard of, though.
DH: Doubtful. Try me.
W: Cafe.
DH: Roundabout way to say, Good Guys. Unless, no. You don't mean the Last Cafe?
C: The last-est.
DH: Ahaha, you've got to be kidding me. Well, I'll believe that when I see it, Kiddie Cafe. Now, I assume you know where the door is, or do I need to get more hands-on?
CK: Now wait just one dang minute there, doc. We came to find out what you're building down here, and we ain't leaving until we find out.
DH: Building? Mhm, I wouldn't say I'm "building" anything.
C: So then what's with all the, the, uh science stuff. Blueprints and metal bits and-
DH: Easy, don't give yourself an aneurysm. I'm not building anything. I'm trying to find out what this device does.
CK: Well, we have it on good authority that you messin' around with that thing could have disastrous consequences, what have you.
DH: Oh no. Oh well. This city has always been a slaughterhouse. Let's see how many I can bring to slaughter.
[Warren warped behind Dr. Deadhand and grabbed the main component on his desk, then warped back to grab Charge and Cassidy Kid before Warping back to the Kronos Cafe.]
E.O.T.
Also, yes, I grabbed the main, whatever it is he was working on. I assume it doesn't have a tracking chip in it or anything, but he also probably knows we're in Kaysh. Scry said we should move it out of the City as fast as we can, but we need to take a better look at it ourselves. Man, I wish 62 was here. But, we've got Re:Vamp, and she's apparently a technopath, so that's cool. Hopefully, we can analyze this thing and get it sent off to Mistvale ASAP.
