CAFE AND DINER UPDATE
It has been decided! We’ve got our third employee… S.W.! I know, we’ve sort of already said his name in other receipts (whoops), but, from here on out, it’s S.W., our resident film expert. We’ve also decided that he is in charge of Mr. Perez’s service. Why? Well, M.J.’s more of our tech guy than a service guy, and I… don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to service. I wasn’t allowed to have pets growing up. But S.W. has had many pets growing up, and his uncle has a farm which he visited many times growing up. So, it’s a sure thing, basically. Plus, Mr. Perez has been hanging around S.W.’s house, not ours.
The plan is we’re going to attempt our service for Mr. Perez tomorrow afternoon. And by we, I mean S.W., but I’ll be watching nearby. I don’t see how this could go wrong, but then again, I’m sure it probably will go wrong somehow. I mean, we are still learning, right? Though I think the worst thing that could happen is Mr. Perez just manages to get away again. Seeing as he is a “Mr.” I don’t think he’ll bite or anything. At least as long as we’re confident and careful.
As I understand it, the Cafe and Diner’s main goal is to serve customers and then send them back to their homes. All customers come from “Ottawa.” How we’re supposed to… well, get an international flight booked… I don’t know. We’ve made it this far, though! And I think the most pressing matter would be to get Mr. Perez fed and happy. We even have some space where he can hang out in the Cafe for a while as we try to book his flight. If we let Mr. Perez keep running around, he might attract unwanted attention. I assume we don’t use our real names for a good reason, right?
