RECEIPT AS OF: 7/27/01
BARISTA ON DUTY: CARAJILLO
RECEIPT FILED AS: TBS-05
Mrs. Helm, what a marvelous beast she is. We have been tracking the creature for a few hours now. Her raw strength is amazing, and the way her hair reflects light is incredible. I’ve never seen a creature like her before. What a fascinating customer to study. I am kindled that Espresso chose me to accompany him on this tab. I was hesitant at first, but Espresso’s inner fire burns brightly. I can see his passion for this work is pure, and his enthusiasm for me to learn this trade is truthful and earnest.
The plan is: We will make contact with Mrs. Helm early tomorrow morning, around 4-5 A.M. assuming she is in a secluded area. Consider this contact a “breakfast service” of sorts. At our breakfast, Espresso intends to weaken Mrs. Helm via direct physical contact. I will maintain a safe distance, though I want to observe Espresso’s techniques closely. Once Mrs. Helm is subdued, Lungo should be able to force-feed her a bowl of assorted fruits, and there should be no need for a “lunch service” reservation. Or perhaps, brunch would follow more aptly.
If Lungo is unable to serve Mrs. Helm’s breakfast for any reason, I have been authorized by Espresso to pay Mrs. Helm’s tab in full. He has lent me a rifle in such a case, though I doubt I will need such a rudimentary firestick. I’ve also been authorized to pay her tab should Espresso’s flame risk petering out at the hands of Mrs. Helm. Though, I understand we are not here to snuff out Mrs. Helm’s flame. These are merely contingency plans, should she lack the required funds to pay for her meal and plane ticket home.
That’s all.
