you know steal is such a strong word. at most we borrowed without permission ofc ofc. besidessss if it was gonna go to zeh anyway and zeh got thrown in bad nasty monkey timeout was a crime even really committed?? you tell me. actually dont tell me. id rather just believe what i want to believe. plus you all went off and had big elder fun and what were we supposed to do??? just sit around??? nonononono... you try and tell no. 53 that were just gonna sit back and do nothing. anywhozzz what do we already know about this little black notebook? wellll....
it almost certainly was at some point the property of satan prince of wrath lord of the hauntaurskald. see satan loved to keep notebooks/ledgers primarily as a way for him to divvy up power amongst the house of satan. his two most famous ledgers are his boogieman book and his legendary 'red book.' the boogieman book is basically all of his contracts with boogiemen and its what sets their terms and whatnot. the red book of satan was kinda like the boogieman book ultima edition. it was used for very special contracts that established a more direct connection to the power of satan/the hauntaurskald. we know that it was used for satans 'dark triad' of umbra, pleasant, and aka.
now as we all know satan GOT-GOT in 1997 by the first cafe and diner. following his defeat and imprisonment satans boogieman book was taken by the iris company. or like i guess they already had a copy of it?? something like that. theyre the only ones who really cared about that thing in the first place. as for the red book?? not. entirely. sure. what happened with that thing. pretty dangerous to have that lying around huh? BUT! that book was very famously red and this book is very distinctly black. sooo.... what is it? i think its safe to assume it probably is some sort of contract or ledger of contracts as that seems to have been satans main vibe. now we just gotta figure out how to open the darn thing. itd be a bummer if only satan could open it seeing as he is somewhere out of the picture atm. though i guess maybe one his siblings could open it?? hmmmmmmm. its a possibility!
