Summary of Receipt
512 finally pieces it all together. Before the First Sphere, the Princes, children of Eve the Elder, lived in the Topside peacefully, helping the Bird test out his plan for the world by managing three smaller utopias: Arcadia, Eden and Skald. Though Satan wasn’t able to stand out, he was content seeing the utopias prosper. But then Lucifer stole fire from Skald, water from Arcadia and fruit from Eden, tainting them in an attempt to merge the three into one. The Devil and Eve were sealed away as punishment, and the Princes forced to live in the remnants of the Skald - becoming the Otherside. Lucifer, before she was forced down, stole light from the Topside to shine on the three fallen utopias. Now consumed with wrath, Satan plans to release the Devil and Eve and return to the Topside - whether peacefully or through war.

Well… after another few weeks of this unholy communion, I think… I think I get it. Lucifer. She’s the reason everything is how it is. Well… sort of. Obviously not “everything, everything,” but Lucifer is the reason why the Otherside is how it is, why the Flipside is how it is, and most importantly, why the Devil is locked up and Eve is gone. Lucifer flew way too close to the sun. Lucifer is the reason all the Princes were cast out of the Topside.
For years, eons practically, the Princes lived Topside, aiding God with His vision for the universe. To prove His vision, God created three microcosms to test and display his concept. Arcadia, Eden, and Skald. The Prices, of course, were the children of Eve, one of God’s most trusted… Well, I’m not sure if “angel” is the correct term here. She was an Elder, though. While Satan had trouble fitting in among his siblings and striking a place out for himself, he was content to see God’s utopias come to fruition. Until… Lucifer decided to ruin everything. The youngest and most reckless of Eve’s children, Lucifer betrayed the trust of the other Princes and God when she attempted to unify the three utopias into one.
This is where it gets… Mm… Metaphorical? I guess? Satan’s memories are faded, but I think Lucifer stole fire from Skald, fruit from Eden, and water from Arcadia and dispersed them, tainting God’s plans. To atone, Lucifer’s parents paid the ultimate price. And the Princes were cast out of the Topside forced to live in the remnants of the Skald. Of course, our Otherside is a far cry from the Skald of Satan’s memories. In a last act of rebellion, Lucifer stole light itself from the Topside, shining it down upon Arcadia, Eden, and the Skald.
Then, the memories become more exact and filled with undying wrath. Satan swore to free his father, The Devil, at any price, and to do so, he split the Skald in half. He also swore to save his mother, Eve… though where she is… isn’t clear. Satan assumes Eve is in the lost garden, the fabled eighth plane of the Otherside… Eden. Though there is doubt in his heart. Obviously, these memories are biased and only a fragment of Satan’s history. Parsing through memories since the beginning of time is… hard. I know for sure that Satan’s goal is to get his parents back and return to the Topside either by welcoming arms or by hellish force.
