I guess I should probably say something, huh? It's not that I didn't want to comment officially on the whole Miss. Ojai thing... I was just hoping it wasn't him. Not again. But all signs point towards yes, so that's where we're at right now.

Miss. Ojai, aka "the Char Man," was/is one of Satan's High House members. Of course, with both Padre gone and I presumed the Char Man dead, it complicates his actual position within the former House of Satan. I don't think Padre's High House is even still a thing, and if anything, the fact that Aka and Pleasant both left to work for/with Umbra says a lot about how intact his House really is. The last any of us heard, the throne of Satan has been under Cain's control until Satan returns. Kind of fitting that the first murderer gets to rule the plane of hell known for serial killers. But the keyword there is "when" not "if." That's the thing about Princes and High Demons. Sure they can die, they aren't immortal like Elders, but they don't like staying dead. Also, I don't know how much I can/should say here, but I think I can say Satan has an easier path to coming back than most dead Princes.

In the days since the first letter arrived, I've received about 20 more, and while most are far too burnt to even bother scanning in, the gist is: "Satan will return and we [The CaD] will burn." I mean. Kinda late on that front, buddy. The CaD has burned down like four times now. (We should really consider buying fire insurance.) Anyway, while we don't have the CaD2 OS Signature database anymore, I recognize the numbers. It's him. It's the Char Man. For those who don't know, he gave me a lot of trouble when I was acting as 8 while the true 8 was "dead." I also thought I killed him. So. I don't know. I don't know where I'm going with any of this, but I think it's good to get these thoughts out. I assume he's mostly mad at me, but still take precautions. The whole "he can come through any flame thing" is kinda B.S., and if he tries it, I'll take him to IRIS myself. He can only come through matchsticks struck between 3-4 am. If he tries ANYTHING else of the sort, invoke Term-Noncompliance and wait for IRIS. Also, I think it goes without saying, don't light any matchsticks between 3-4 am. And if some passerby happens to light up during the witching hour, he can only stay Flipside for as long as the match is lit. He has some leeway with keeping it lit via magic, but putting it out should also put him out, if you get what I mean.

Stay safe, everyone.
