RECEIPT NOTES:
That is rather strange, no? From how la dame described them, the Min Min Lights were supposed to be a minor nuisance, if that. But these lights… well, they’re far more than a simple cryptid pest. Unless, of course, there’s more to these lights than we’ve been led to believe, eh? No—I’ve seen these lights before. And yes, it’s supposed to be another one of my “secrets,” but I think I can let this one slip. Just a little.
These lights—they’re the Universe breaking. In a small way, of course. If the entire Universe were collapsing, we’d notice more than just a swirl of lights in the sky. To me, this is a sign of distress from the Universe. Something has happened on a cosmic scale, causing reverberations that, to us, look like lights. The limitation of being stuck in the third dimension, no? I’ve seen these lights a few times before, back when Division Zulu and I dealt with powerful, dangerous entities—ones that could shape reality to their will. Doubly strange, the Min Min Lights are actually here too.
The reports weren’t wrong. We’ve seen the usual discs flitting about, fading when we get close. La dame and mon nouvel ami are out searching for the little cryptids now, assuming they’re antlions, like la dame thinks. But me? I’ve been far more captivated by the light show—something far beyond our control. It’s like all that exists is shaking and shuddering under an invisible, unimaginable weight. I can see how they’ve gotten lost among the Min Min Light sightings—it’s probably why the Agency hasn’t sent Bravo out to investigate yet. But… I suspect they’ll show up before the curtain call, no?
