There was a fire in the Cafe and Diner. Thankfully, 512, being a zombie, managed to put it out without dying. She suspects it’s caused by Miss. Ojai, since the place also smells of brimstone and sulfur which adds up to the whole ‘fire and brimstone’ thing.

Hey. So. There was a pretty bad fire in the Cafe today. The entire sacristy caught on fire. Don’t worry. I managed to get the fire out and only got somewhat burned alive. Well, mostly burned alive. It sounds worse than it is. I feel fine. I just look very… crispy. I’ll just need some blood and rest, and then these burns should take care of themselves! Or maybe burns are permanent for me? If so, whoops. Well, if that’s the case, some makeup will probably do the trick!
I’m not sure how this fire started, but there was an unmistakable smell of brimstone in the air. I suppose that might be a preexisting feature of the Open Doors Church. Though this fire seemingly came out of nowhere along with the sulfurous smell. Luckily, I was the only one in the Cafe at the time because this would’ve probably killed anyone else. While the fire was intense, it was also very short-lived. Almost as if it had a mind of its own. And while most of the damage was contained to the sacristy, it seemed like the fire was searching for me specifically. Almost as if it was following me around.
Though I don’t think I was the intended target. Or maybe the target didn’t matter at all. This might’ve just been a customer trying to send a very aggressive message. Speaking of, I’ve done some research into the customer files, and I think this might be related to “Miss. Ojai?” She was sending threats to the Cafe and Diner before I joined, and this matches up with the whole “I want to see you burn in fire and brimstone” from the letter, right? It also matched up with her ability to control fire. I think maybe when I caught on fire, Miss. Ojai figured that her job was done and left. Guess she didn’t know I’m a zombie. Or am I more like a ghoul? It’s really unclear, honestly.
