Summary of Receipt

After taking care of Deadhand, they find a strange metal egg. Dovetail (4121) and Re:Vamp (who has technopathy) try to find something. It’s not electronic, but there is a magical symbol of seven swords possibly linked to the Sevenfold Sect. Also, Scry’s been seeing the egg in her visions. They decide what to do with it, trying to figure out who’s good with magic and intelligent. They consider Scry, Phantom Lane and the ‘saint squad’ (who they apparently just come and go). While they search, Dovetail suggests to get rid of it.

okkkk so me and revamp have been looking over this big ol metal easter egg and its definitely weird. like WEIRD WEIRD. revamp did her like technopathy stuff to it and NOTHING its not tech just metal i guess. then i did my wonderful second sight stuff on it and not much EXCEPT that bad girl has a sigil tied to it. well maybe not a sigil but like a symbol. i know i know tomato tahmato but there is a difference. now why is a symbol psychically linked to this metal egg thing???? i have no freaking idea. worst of all when i tried to get a better look at it, it just vanished. like no traces. so i drew it from memory best i could but im sure the more fine details are off in some way. interesting to note, and i hope im not just misremembering this... notice the seven swords. SEVEN. sevenfold? helllloooo i think this is theirs. now the weird thing is theres no tech in it and besides that brief psychic flash i dont think theres magic in this thing either. soooo what is it? just a big hunk a smooth metal? i guess maybe deadhands took out the tech stuff and warren didnt grab that but theres no seams or anything and from what warren told me the other stuff looked like it was operating on the metal egg. that and scry confirmed that the egg is all she saw in her visions.

we have a few options at this point i guess. seeing as its not tech revamp cant do anything more with it and it might be magic so we need someone who is big magic energy to take a look at it. coven has big magic energy tbh but not big magic brain NO OFFENSE COVEN ILY!!! but i think you get what i mean its not something we can just magic at and hope it doesnt sink the city, heck, the whole state into the ocean. we need someone with finesse. and that person is NOT ME. uhhh who does that leave though? i dont know the people here that well... scry mentioned maybe the saint squad could take a look but they kinda show up where and when they want. phantom lane MIGHT be able to do something with it in the phantom lane but thats probably a no-go from scry. hmmmm we gotta find a big magic brain. until then though i think it probably would be safest to get rid of this hot potato. scry wants to dump it in the swamps of mistvale which sure i guess. ive heard that its “HOME OF THE PROBE” whatever that means lmao. my only concern is can the sevenfold sect find this thing again? also is this the only metal egg thing? i mean, deadhands said he found it, right? how many are lying around? aaaa i have interdimensional jet lag tbh.
